WISCONSIN PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS | LAURIE!

Right around this time last year we had the GIANT honor of photographing this beautiful lady!!! Laurie is an amazing wedding photographer in the Milwaukee area and we were ecstatic when she reached out to us for photos to accompany the launch of her new website! Not only has her new brand been looking lovely since last summer, it is also the perfect representation of who Laurie is and what matters most in her life. :) Knowing that Laurie asked the two of us to be a little part of her journey makes us smile so big!!

For this lifestyle session, Laurie wanted to incorporate a few of her favorites – coffee, photos, her fiancé and baking! From the outfits she chose to the pampering she enjoyed leading up to her session & the gorgeous, joyful smile that never left her face, it's so fun for us to share these images with you today and relive the inspiring afternoon we shared!! :) We love the natural sparkle in Laurie's eyes because at the time of this session, she was in the process of reaching out & authentically grabbing what she wanted to achieve with her business by building her brand around her personality & passion!

WAUSAU NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER | MISS PENELOPE MAE!

It brings us SO much joy to share with you... Little Miss Penelope Mae!! We are so lucky to call this adorable family of four dear friends of ours. If you've peeked at the portraits section of our site before, chances are you've been able to see Sara & Brian's sweet family grow over the last few years!! From Sara's maternity session to now "big brother" Lennon's newborn photos & a few family portraits along the way, we've had so much fun with each session and love creating memories & laughing together in between :) Penelope is already more blessed than she could possibly know! But you won't need to merely take our word for it... we're entirely positive that the love in this family overwhelmingly shines through!!

HEIRLOOM WEDDING ALBUMS

There are about a million reasons why we love when our clients come to us and, when asked how they'd like to remember their wedding day, they say with an album. As we've mentioned before, we are incredibly passionate in our belief that every wedding deserves to live on in the pages of your custom-designed, handmade album! When the guests have all left, the decor has been cleared and that beautiful white tent taken down, it is such a great feeling to be able to hold your wedding album as the representation of your lovely wedding day! While you're enjoying life as Mr & Mrs and your friends & family come over to visit, sharing your album with them brings such a feeling of joy!! Thinking about our couples doing just that makes us smile SO big!!! What an absolute blessing it is to be a part of each moment and to preserve it forever in a photograph. FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHERS WAUSAU WI | JOACHIM IS ONE!!

Somehow, this darling little one is already ONE year old!!! We first met Joachim and his parents, Dominee & Hector, at the end of 2012, and since then we've had the absolute pleasure of seeing them every few months throughout Joachim Bradley's first year! We had so much fun watching him grow and capturing his personality (& too-cute outfits!) on film – what a giant honor!! After photos in their light-filled sunroom, we snuck outside for a few images and also to capture Joachim's first time in the SNOW! This was so adorable and we think it's safe to say that he might prefer summertime... not that we blame him one bit, haha! ;)

2013 YEAR IN REVIEW | PORTRAITS

There is truly something to be said about reflecting upon the year that passed in order to organize your thoughts & goals for the months ahead! We just circled back around to highlight some the wedding & engagement photos that warmed our hearts in 2013, and we wanted to do just the same with portraits. Capturing the newness that comes with your first born baby all the way through the friendship-like love that develops as your little ones become young adults is something that makes us so happy! Time is fleeting and each day seems faster than the last, but in our eyes photography transcends all of that. It freezes special moments so that you can love, share, and cherish them for the rest of your days. We hope these images bring a smile to your face, because we can honestly say that we were smiling when we captured each one of them. To the families who have invited us into their homes over the last year, thank you so much!! We can't wait to photograph your families as they continue to grow this year :)
