There are about a million different reasons that we adore engagement sessions. This is when we really get to spend time with our couples & our cameras before their wedding day. Being in front of a camera in general is not a natural thing for most people, so we love the opportunity to make them feel at ease in front of our lens!! Not to mention... these sessions are FUN!! There's no timeline to follow like there is on a wedding day, and we truly have time to play together! :) This year our couples took us across the Midwest for their engagement photos (which we LOVE!) and it let us capture them in locations that really mean something to their love story! :) From the Farmer's Market in St Paul to Lincoln Park in Chicago to the Lakeside in Door County and everywhere in between, we loved visiting & exploring such charming locations!
