It is no secret that we are wonderful friends with (and huge fans of) the lovely lady behind A.Styled Event! Anna is one of the most genuine, caring, and optimistic people we have ever met and she also happens to have a ton of creativity tucked in her pocket! After working with Anna on our styled waffle wedding shoot this summer, we found ourselves completely blown away by her passion and heartfelt attention to every. single. detail!! Anna brings a vision to life by focusing on the darling DIY elements that emphasize personality -- isn't that what every bride's goal is, anyways? Making your wedding day YOURS by breathing personality into it! Well, aside from marrying the one you love of course ;) When we look back at our beautiful & elegant 2009 wedding, had we chatted with Anna beforehand chances are that our day would have been infused with a bit more detail that literally screamed "Butch and Kelsy's Wedding!!" And that is Anna's goal & hope for each newly engaged couple she works with: to celebrate your marriage surrounded by your closest friends & family with a day that truly resembles the two of you as a couple.

This lady has a spectacular talent and we are thrilled to see where it takes her in the wedding industry!! And beyond that, we are absolutely honored (and ridiculously giddy) to call her one of our best friends!!

MILWAUKEE THIRD WARD ENGAGEMENT | LAUREN & RYAN

Just a couple weeks ago we visited Ryan & Lauren in Milwaukee and they showed us around town!! From the water to the Third Ward (love!) we really enjoyed chatting with them and creating fun images together. These two are planning a Milwaukee wedding next August and after hanging out with them we are even MORE excited to photograph their celebration! Love | K&B

MINNESOTA GOLF CLUB WEDDING | KAYLA & ALEX

Kayla and Alex are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! Their sincerity and generosity are straight from the heart, and we feel truly lucky to have photographed their love story. Kayla & Alex put 100% of themselves into their wedding day! From the birch tree centerpieces that Alex sought out & cut himself to the adorable card box and K&A monogram, their wedding day reflected their personalities perfectly with a celebration that was warm, happy, inviting, and so fun :) The love these two share is absolutely radiant and when you see them together it's SO easy to picture them hand in hand giving each other the same I-love-you looks in 50 years :) They light each other up, and quite honestly, they light us up too! After you have spent time with Kayla & Alex it makes you want to grab the hand of your loved one or best friend and never let go. We just absolutely adore these two :)

MATT & KATIE PHOTOGRAPHERS WAUSAU WISCONSIN WORKSHOP!

Two awesome Australian photographers in WAUSAU... Really?? We were absolutely blown away when we found out Matt & Katie were visiting our cute little town to teach a workshop! Jodi & Marie reached out to M&K in hopes that they would include a stop in Wausau in their first workshop tour through the States & Canada and, AMAZINGLY, they were more than happy to! Matt and Katie are from a very small town in Australia, but their presence in the wedding photography industry is quite massive. Because of their small town roots, they were keen on the idea of visiting any and every small town that expressed interest in their workshop! We had been internet friends with the Australian pair since 2009 and were excited to spend a little time together when they came through Wausau. As it turned out, we were able to offer our home to the two of them while they were here in August, and even contribute our time filming their two-day workshop! Due to a last minute change in plans the workshop actually took place in our studio, and we had fun working with Marie & Jodi to make it the best experience possible for all of the attendees involved. Jodi & Marie put in hours upon hours of coordinating and planning everything out with Matt & Katie, and we were truly honored to have it take place in our studio. From the models to the food and partnering wedding vendors, they ensured that the workshop went off without a hitch!

Matt and Katie were SO giving and happy to share everything they've learned in the last several years of their business -- absolutely essential information for new photographers that otherwise would have to learn these things the hard way! Information that schools don't teach. Plain & simple action steps that every attendee could implement into their business as soon as they got home! From our perspective behind the filming of their workshop, we can truly attest to the quality and sincerity that these two bring to their workshop. It's not "fluff and look at us", it's this is how we do it and this is what works for us, here's how it can work for you.

We had heaps of fun with Matt & Katie and all of the attendees while they were here and are super grateful to have made so many new friends!! We hope you enjoy this little glimpse into a studio full of photographers learning how it's done!

MICHELLE & RYAN | WISCONSIN FALL ENGAGEMENT

From the moment we arrived to Ryan's parents stunning property just outside of Wausau, these two (& both of their families!) invited us into their home and made us feel so welcomed! Michelle & Ryan lucked out with what was truly the most PERFECT fall day (yes, we've been blessed with a few of those!). Michelle is a touch soft spoken, so sincere & thoughtful (not to mention beautiful!!), and Ryan is just someone who you can tell is an absolute sweetheart! They are planning a wedding next September at the Jefferson Street Inn and we cannot wait to see all of the ideas they've mentioned come to life with the help of A.Styled Event!! Love | K&B
