Horseshoe Bay Beach Club Wedding | Angie & Mike

A wedding at the Horseshoe Bay Beach Club in Door County is among the most gorgeous places to get married in Wisconsin. A private club all to yourself with the sun dipping into the bay while you cheers the night away with your closest family & friends. Angie & Mike had just that & more on their beautiful May wedding day! Door County Trolley provided transportation for all of their guests to and from the Beach House and Blossoms Flower House complimented the ceremony & reception with beautiful greens & whites. Door County Event Planners of course planned the day to perfection and we aren't sure how they did it, but topped it all off with an absolutely stunning Door County sunset!

Wausau Engagement Portraits | Ona & Jim

Sometimes you meet someone who is so clearly meant for you. You're always excited to see them. They bring out your biggest and brightest smiles. And it is evident to everyone around you this all happened for a reason. Sound familiar?? Well, if you know Ona & Jim, chances are that's exactly how you feel about THEM! We first chatted with these two via Skype as we finalized their wedding booking and started planning their engagement session. It felt like we could have chatted forever and had known them for years and, if you ask us, it's one of the best feelings!! :)

Just before Thanksgiving, Ona & Jim made a day-trip to Wausau for their engagement session! After portraits in our studio downtown, we headed out on location and were happily met with sunshine on a crisp near-winter day. We loved spending the day with this sweet soon to be Mr & Mrs and cannot WAIT for their wedding next year in beautiful Door County!

XOXO, Kelsy & Butch

Fall Family Portraits in Wausau | The Manzons

The Manzon family’s sunroom and property served as the perfect location for their fall family portrait session! Their son, Bradley, is at such a fun playful age and we loved spending this sunny morning with them!

Cozy Northwoods Wisconsin Engagement | Taylor & Adam

After a fun engagement session planning date with Taylor & her engagement session stylist, Kase Styles, we had dreamed up a vision for her & Adam's engagement session. We couldn't wait for September 21st to arrive! Fast forward to just two weeks ago and we were venturing into the Northwoods of Wisconsin with lanterns in tow, heading up to Taylor's family's beautiful lake home in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin. Upon arriving to the property where Taylor, Adam and their friends & family created countless memories over the years, we noticed the forecasted rain for other parts of WI had shifted paths – it was now heading straight in our direction with an ETA of about 10 minutes. With this in mind, Kasey quickly styled a romantic spot at the end of the dock where Taylor & Adam promptly curled up and shared just how ADORABLE they are with our cameras! Taylor was absolutely stunning, Adam equally as handsome, and we could have photographed them all night on every inch of the most beautiful lakeside property. :)

After a short time, the rain kindly suggested we take the rest of their session indoors which ended up being a blessing because - WOW!! It felt like we were photographing Taylor & Adam on vacation at an elegant yet cozy cabin in Lake Tahoe, complete with a glass of wine by the fire. :) These two are one of the most welcoming, down to earth couples and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of their wedding day next June!

Love,

Kelsy & Butch
