This is a day we would relive over and over if we could!! Drew & Matt are two people with some of the most magnetic personalities we've ever had the pleasure of photographing. They planned a wedding celebration centered around what matters most: spending as much time as possible with each other and their closest loved ones (all 250 of their guests!;)
The moment we arrived at Drew's parents beautiful home in Baldwin, WI, we were greeted with the most JOYFUL hugs, and that was just the beginning... Drew was so excited and couldn't wait to jump into her dress!! We don't have enough hands to count the number of times she said "this is so fun!" :) Some couples are a bit nervous the morning of their wedding, but this day... it was 100000% LOVE and EXCITEMENT!!! And, if you know us, you'll know that we love being excited too ;)
After being helped into her beautiful gown by her Mom & sister, Drew went to see her handsome groom, Matt, who was waiting for her under a giant tree in her parents yard. Their first look was emotional, full of smiles, and one of the cutest moments of all time! We loved photographing Drew & Matt and their amazing families all around this gorgeous property. In between champagne cheersing and lots of giant belly laughs, the soon-to-be Mr & Mrs invited us in to capture so many sweet moments!
Just minutes from where they got ready, Drew & Matt chose to have their ceremony at the charming Historic Woodside Place. What a beautiful place to become husband and wife!! As soon as Drew made her way to the alter, she & Matt turned to face all of their guests and burst out with a little Thank You message to welcome them all and let them know how happy they were to have each one of them as a part of their wedding day. This set the tone for a genuinely touching ceremony. Guests filled the classic wooden pews, light poured in through the stained glass windows, and their Officiant (Drew's Godfather) shared so many sweet words about the two of them and their future together.
Fast forward to their beautiful reception at Troy Burne Golf Club where Drew & Matt were treated to a stunning sunset after being overcome with tears & laughter while their brothers and sisters shared heartwarming words about them during toasts. Blush and ivory blooms with gold vases and blush sequin table runners decorated the tables where guests took turns singing songs about love to solicit smooches from Drew & Matt. And, can we talk about the amazing cake their family friend created for them?! They had not one but NINE wedding cakes!
The band started up, Drew & Matt danced with each other, along with the sweetest father & daughter, mother & son dances, and their guests used up all of the dancing space available to celebrate the new Mr & Mrs. It was a truly special day, and we are SO honored to share their pictures with you all! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Drew & Matt!
