HORSESHOE BAY BEACH CLUB DOOR COUNTY WEDDING | KARYN & TOM

There were heaps of reasons why we were looking forward to Karyn and Tom's Horseshoe Bay Beach Club wedding. The BIGGEST being that they are kind, silly, and filled with life and personality. Just plain old FUN to be around. And every time we open our mouths to talk about them we can't help but blurt out we Love them!! 

Karyn & Tom's wedding day had everything. Rain, wind, a gorgeous sunset, an elegant Sperry Tent, smiling guests ready to dance the night away, and the happiest bride and groom in the state!! After a beautiful, emotional ceremony along Horseshoe Bay, guests enjoyed signature cocktails & passed appetizers, as well as a whiskey & cigar tent for the gentlemen.  Karyn and Tom's parents & siblings had the entire tent roaring in laughter and smiles as they shared charming, entertaining stories about the lovely bride & groom during their toasts... and we're pretty sure Karyn must have been in some sort of physical pain after all of the giant, contagious belly laughs she let out!! :)  Carrie of Door County Event Planners masterfully orchestrated a stunning and seamless celebration, the blush & ivory flowers created by Flora were breathtaking, and Karyn & Tom even had a late night burrito truck arrive to fill their guests to the brim!!

Karyn & Tom, we couldn't be more honored and excited to have been a part of your fairytale wedding day!!! We think the world of the two of you and your families, and can't thank you enough for inviting us in to capture so many special moments.

Sara & Brian and their little cuties, Lennon & Penelope, make up one of the sweetest families we know, and we are lucky to not only take their picture but to call them dear friends as well! Lennon wanted to have his hands in the sand the whole session (such a boy!), and Ellie's toothy smile had us both giggling behind our cameras! Playing near the water with this smiley family of four as the sun dipped down ... It really doesn't get any better than that!!

We all know wedding days are fast-moving and fueled by overwhelming emotions all while following a "timeline." This is exactly why we love the idea of post-wedding portraits!! Karla & Greg's Horseshoe Bay Golf Club wedding earlier this year didn't allow time for us to wiggle up to Ellison Bay for portraits, so two weeks later they chose to get dolled up again for extra portraits in their favorite Door County spot. We were blessed with a perfect evening to share with this beautiful new Mr & Mrs and WOW did we ever have a stunning backdrop!! :)

This beautiful family was together just a couple weeks ago for an early celebration of their Mom & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary!! With family members flying in from around the country, what better way to document the occasion than with family portraits? We had so much fun spending the morning with the Osinski's and were lucky to photograph them on their gorgeous property (which we wanted to take home with us)!! :) So many smiling kids running all over the place and fun-loving parents trying to corral them for photos made for a wonderful morning spent with this family!

ROTHSCHILD PAVILION WAUSAU WEDDING | ELLIE & ANDREW

Ellie & Andrew are high school sweethearts and they also happen to be one of the most inspiring examples of LOVE that we can think of. Although they've been together for so many years, you would think they had just started dating by the way they affectionately embrace and support each other. It is clear that they always have one another in their thoughts and go out of the way to do little things to make each other smile. We know this because they had us smiling all day long with how in love and adorable they were together!! Not only that, but goodness are they ever a gorgeous new Mr and Mrs? We could have photographed them all weekend and felt very lucky to have the pleasure of doing so, including their Rehearsal Dinner! :)

With the help of Randy from Evolutions in Design and Ellie's Mom, Chris, she dreamed up one of the most beautiful celebrations we have ever been a part of!! The Rothschild Pavilion is already an amazing wedding venue (one of our favorite in Wausau!!), but when Randy and his team got their hands on it, they transformed it into a stunning, romantic, elegant celebration for the new Dr & Mrs Welles to enjoy with all 300+ of their friends & family! Fabric draping through the rustic beams, a living room set-up by the fireplace & blooms in every direction, as well as personal touches like signature cocktails, traditional Norwegian cakes and keys for their guests to share their secrets to a happy marriage are just a few of the things that made their wedding so lovely.

Beyond the VERY pretty decor, Ellie & Andrew's wedding day was SO emotional and heartfelt. The love of their friends & family was felt by everyone and there wasn't a dry eye in the house during the toasts (us included)! We adore these two and their families and couldn't be more thankful to have been chosen to document such a beautiful celebration of love for Ellie & Andrew!!
