Hello! Butch here. It's no secret that my favorite subject to photograph happens to share a house with me... But since Parker wasn't available for a spontaneous photo session, Kelsy quickly jumped at the opportunity (Buh! dum! dum!). Kidding! I got a new camera (since the Contax 645 seems to always be attached to Kelsy's hands) and couldn't wait to test it out. I definitely begged my lovely wife (and partner in photography everything), Kelsy, if she would model for me :) We added a Pentax 6x7 camera to the lineup and we couldn't be more excited about it! We'll be hitting the weight room a bit harder in the coming days to make sure we don't wear out on a wedding day. This camera is a beast! We've only run a few rolls of film through it, but it's quickly becoming my favorite! ... Sorry Hasselblad!
WEDDING & BABY FEATURES
Little Miss Penelope's newborn session stole our hearts in a hurry, and we couldn't be more thrilled that On to Baby happened to feel the same!! Sara & Brian dreamed up the cutest nursery that, we have no doubt, will surely serve as inspiration for future Moms & Dads as they plan their little lady's room :) SO grateful for this family!
Jen & Rob's barn wedding in Wausau this past August was such an incredible day that we honestly wish we could relive it over & over again! The talented hands of Jen's Mom and Jenna from Jenna A Events created an absolute dream celebration for them to enjoy, and we enjoyed capturing every element! :) Thankful that Maggie from Rustic Wedding Chic also fell in love with Jen and Rob's wedding day!

ELDORADO CANYON STATE PARK | EXPLORING COLORADO
Earlier this year we had the chance to do a little exploring around Denver, Colorado, and we JUST realized that we hadn't shared our adventure with you yet! This particular day was spent falling in love with a charming coffee shop/cafe, heading West to hike the Eldorado Canyon Trail at Eldorado Canyon State Park (with camera in hand of course), trying out a brewery downtown where Butch tasted his most tasty IPA of all time (big deal, folks!), and finally freshening up for a dinner at our favorite restaurant in Denver. SUCH a fun day – especially since it was a beautiful 60 degrees around Denver and Wisconsin was still buried in snow. ;) The mountains were absolutely beautiful and they left us wanting to come back for more!! LAKE MICHIGAN MILWAUKEE ENGAGEMENT | SARAH & JEFF!
It was a bright, 50-degree Saturday. We hopped in our car, pointed it at Milwaukee, and away we went feeling SO excited to spend time with Sarah & Jeff and overjoyed that we had such a sunny day to play with! :)
Sarah grew up living right across the street from Big Bay Park, so this beautiful part of Lake Michigan's shoreline has a reminiscent quality to her & her family. As we all know, Wisconsin's loveliness isn't quite at its peak during the month of April, so we were very lucky to have such a stunning setting to explore with Sarah & Jeff. The water was so brilliantly blue that it honestly looked like we were in a tropical destination!
Seeing Sarah & Jeff cozy up to each other in front of our cameras and pull the laughs right out of one another absolutely warmed our hearts. These two are such an adorable, stylish pair and we cannot WAIT for their wedding this September at the University Club!! :)

Over the last few weeks we've had so much fun reliving a couple of our favorite weddings & engagements on lovely wedding blogs!! After all of the planning that our couples put into their sessions and celebrations, it is such a joy to see their efforts serve as inspiration for future brides & grooms :) First up was Emily & Dave's classic country club wedding in Milwaukee, featured on the wonderful Elizabeth Anne Designs! Their beautiful wedding day was filled with the perfect amount of sunshine, personal touches, a hint of nautical detailing, and one of the most adorable couples of all time!! :)
