Seeing their beautiful celebration in print brings the biggest smile to our face because their wedding day is truly one that we will never forget!! Hooray!! The month of October brought quite a few pieces of excitement over here to McCartney land, two of them being that Lauren & Ryan AND Liz & Aaron's beautiful Wisconsin weddings were featured on the lovely Style Me Pretty!! ST. PAUL ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS | SUSAN & ERIC!!

You know that kind of person who you spend your entire life looking up to? For me (Kelsy) that has always been my Aunt Susan, and she is the beautiful lady whose smile lights up each one of these photos!! In hopes of not spoiling my wedding day speech, as I am so excited to be standing beside Susan along with two others as one of her Matrons of Honor, I'm going to skip some of the mushy stuff and move onto how excited I am to see Susan the happiest I have EVER seen her!!

Susan & Eric were introduced by friends and their very first date is exactly what inspired their engagement session! After meeting at the Black Dog Cafe for coffee on a Saturday morning, they ventured across the street to the St Paul Farmer's Market and continued to talk for hours. Not only is that an adorable first date, it also lended itself to a cute & meaningful location for their photos!! After making our way through mounds of brussels sprouts & autumnal blooms, we headed to what we like to call Central Park (aka Irvine Park) and were lucky enough to have just enough playtime before the rain came. :)

Susan & Eric, thank you two so much for not only being some of our closest family, but also for the fun friendship that comes along with it!! We can't wait to be a part of your wedding weekend and are SO excited that we were able to create these images with you :)

WEDDING ALBUMS

We've been busy sending out heirloom wedding albums to our wonderful 2013 couples over the last few weeks, but wanted to pause for just a moment to share a few images of Laurie & Mark's album with you guys. :) They chose a gorgeous grey silk cover!

We loved the way their rainy wedding day provided us with such vibrantly glowing green trees surrounding the charming Munson Bridge Winery for their portraits! All around a wonderful day, and now a beautiful album for them to share with friends & family and look back at for years & years to come. Nothing makes us smile more! :D

FALL MINNESOTA WEDDING | BECKY & JOE!

We've been smiling non-stop while putting this blog post together! Becky & Joe are one of the sweetest and most in love couples we've had the privilege & pleasure of getting to know with our cameras, and their happiness is infectious!! If we were to guess, we would say that scrolling through their happy faces brought a smile to yours too ;)

These two wear their emotions right on their sleeves (and also on their faces), and that is just part of what made their wedding day so powerful. Becky undoubtedly gets this characteristic from her sweet Dad who was overcome with emotion many times throughout the day, and Joe's adoring eyes speak volumes of just how much he loves his beautiful bride! It's moments like these that we are beyond grateful to capture such authentic love.

After getting ready surrounded by her ladies at her & Joe's house, Becky headed to see Joe for the first time before their ceremony. It was quite a brisk afternoon at Normandale Lake, but it's as if the temperature didn't even matter. The fall colors were beautiful, Becky & Joe looked incredible, and this was their day! :) After wedding party portraits surrounded by the most charming "California trees" (as we McCartneys call them), we headed to St Michael's Lutheran Church where Becky & Joe shared a moment with their wedding party and then were married by Becky's Uncle & Godfather.

Becky (& Joe) spent countless hours planning, crafting and creating fun elements to bring their wedding vision to life. The Minnesota Valley Country Club was dressed with decor in rich autumn hues, and Joe said it best during the toast that he spoke of his lovely bride on their wedding day – "this little lady made most everything you see in this room!!" :)

We wish these two lived closer so that we could have them over for wine & yummy bites on a weekly basis :) Thank you, Becky & Joe, for inviting us into your wedding celebration so warmly that we truly felt like family!
