On a gorgeous evening just a few weeks ago, we met the McCain family at one of their favorite places to spend time exploring & hiking – Granite Peak! We had SO much fun running around with the four of them, and have been literally bursting at the seams with excitement to share their images with you!! This little one has been the biggest JOY for us to photograph over the last year!! If you can't tell from these images (and really, how can you NOT??), Elsie has a light about her that pulls the smiles out of everyone around her! After every session we've been lucky enough to have with her, our faces hurt (in a good way!) and our hearts are so full :) Thank you so much to Elsie's parents, Britta & Lynden, for the pleasure of photographing Elsie's first year!

YAY!!! Lesley & Jason's AWESOME vintage backyard wedding is featured on Wedding Chicks today! These two invested SO much time & creativity into their wedding, and it's safe to say that every single guest was completely blown away by their celebration. From their DIY ceremony backdrop to the gentleman's tent that Lesley surprised Jason with and the song they wrote & recorded together for their grand march, how can you NOT love these two? Where do we begin with the excitement and slight nervousness that was running through our minds & fingertips as we sat down to put together our words for I Love Farm Weddings? This opportunity was SUCH a huge honor!! We were on our way to Iowa to photograph an art museum wedding. Butch was driving, I was riding, and we were probably listening to mellow Pearl Jam tunes at the time :) We wanted to be helpful and honest as we approached the subject of wedding albums, but we also wanted to sound like ourselves and not like two kids giving a book report! Words started to come quicker than we could have imagined and we really should have known that they would. Providing our couples with a beautiful heirloom through which they will remember their wedding day and share it with family for generations to come is something that we are very passionate about!
