CENTRAL WISCONSIN LIFESTYLE SESSION ON FILM | JEN & HAZEL

After having met Jen and chatted for just with her for only a couple hours, we immediately had the feeling that she had a charming and adorable home! You know how you can just TELL that about someone? Well, when we arrived for her & Hazel's in-home session on a sunny AND snowy Monday morning, we couldn't have been more excited! Jen is an absolute sweetheart, her puppy Hazel is the cutest (we happen to think she would make a perfect little girlfriend for Parker!!), and we were exactly right in that Jen's beautiful home was just WAITING for its moment to shine during this session! We truly love the vibe of an in-home lifestyle session. You and the one you love captured in your natural setting -- in Jen & Hazel's case, a whimsical home decorated straight out of holiday catalog!! NAUTICAL MILWAUKEE ENGAGEMENT ON FILM | JESS & DOM

There are very few things we love more than anything & everything about a nautical Milwaukee engagement session on film! Something about photographing a couple in love at such an effortlessly romantic location on the water just gets us. We were in absolute heaven during Jess & Dom's engagement session!! The day after Thanksgiving was quite chilly in Milwaukee -- as in we wore puffer parkas and used 15 hot pads to keep feeling in our fingers! But you would never know it because they (especially Jess!) were excited about their pictures too, which clearly made them willing to sacrifice their warmth for some extra cozy images ;) With perfect style, the loving little glances these two shared along Lake Michigan made us and our cameras do backflips, and we are SOOO excited to share their images with you! Jess & Dom are so easy going and fun to be around, and we cannot wait to see what they plan for their big day!! Love | K&B

FILM LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER | ADORABLE LITTLE ELSIE

We love Sunday mornings with Britta, Lynden, Kilen & Elsie -- and Sadie too! We're super grateful to have photographed this growing family for the last couple years and always look forward to visiting their home for photo sessions. :) At 5 months old Elsie was the main focus of our latest shoot, but we really enjoyed stepping back and catching everyone loving on her too!! Britta & Lynden have the sweetest family and a beautiful home, which makes for extra lengthy sessions and lots of pictures because our cameras just love them! Love | K&B

MINNEAPOLIS LIFESTYLE SESSION ON FILM | LAURA & TODOR

We are doing a little happy dance around our sunroom as we prepare these images of Laura & Todor to share with you today!! Laura is a friend of ours who happens to be an amazing film photographer in the Twin Cities! We are constantly in awe of Laura's absolutely beautiful images and have somewhat adopted her as our little family photographer ever since our first session with Laura in 2010, which is something that we are so grateful for! ;) There is truly something to be said about choosing a photographer whose personality puts you at ease and who you can truly be yourselves around! And for us, that is Laura! Her approach to shooting a session is so relaxed yet fun and she has an energy that immediately puts you at ease in front of her camera. We knew that it was about time to update the photos on our website and there wasn't a hint of a doubt that Laura was the one we hoped would capture us on film :) As we started chatting and preparing for our session, it turned out that she & Todor were also hoping to be photographed by a film shooter! We were slightly nervous and super honored to hear that we would be photographing a photographer who we look up to SO much!! Laura is a huge inspiration to us and just thinking about the fact that she would be on the other side of our cameras filled us with excitement. Just a few days after Laura visited Wausau for our session, we headed to Minneapolis to meet Laura, Todor & their sweet pup Bianca. We had a blast photographing and chatting with them! Laura & Todor are both incredibly easy going and stylish, and the chilly temps made them extra cuddly which we thought was absolutely perfect :) Together, Laura & Todor love to see the world. Their travels are well documented and after seeing them cozy up together, it is easy to picture them strolling the streets of Paris or roaming around Todor's home country of Bulgaria! Photographing these two was an absolute thrill for us, as it's not every day we get to photograph the photographer who inspires us!! It makes us smile from ear to ear that we can call this adorable couple friends!

We couldn't possibly be more excited right now!!! Heather & Joe's absolutely stunning Minneapolis wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty's blog today! Heather & Joe put SO much detailed & heartfelt thought into every aspect of their wedding day, and it definitely didn't go unnoticed! Every detail was completely gorgeous and 100% fitting for the two of them and their relationship as they incorporated their love of Lake Harriet, running, their passion for each other, and the many places they've explored together into their wedding celebration. Throughout the planning process we knew that Heather was swooning over the soft & lovely feel of Style Me Pretty's features (we really cannot sing the praises of this wedding blog enough!!), and have no doubt she must be giddy to see her very own wedding day splashed across their front page!! After pouring your heart into each detail and carefully planning for months, could there be anything sweeter than seeing your beautiful day shared as inspiration for other brides on the most beautiful wedding blog?

We are so thrilled for Heather & Joe - they are an amazing couple who are just an absolute joy to be around! We feel so grateful to have documented their love story :)
