Horseshoe Bay Beach Club Wedding | Mary Clare & Bret

After getting ready at her parents beautiful home on Bayshore Drive, Mary Clare and Bret were married at St Joseph’s Church in Surgeon Bay. Their grand exit down down the steps following their ceremony were filled with an abundance of joy & sunshine, and you could FEEL all of the love surrounding this couple – a theme that carried throughout the entirety if their heartfelt wedding day.

Cocktail hour along the water at the Horseshoe Bay Beach Club awaited their guests, followed by a tented reception with timelessly romantic florals by Flora Flowershop, an effortless day choreographed by Door County Event Planners, and live music by the North Coast Orchestra. One of our favorite moments was Mary Clare and Bret’s entrance into their reception, where you could see just how much delighted they were, and how much this day meant to them!

We are so very happy for this wonderful couple, and grateful to have been the ones to capture such special moments for the two of them and their warm, welcoming families!

Gordon Lodge Door County Wedding | Abby & David

Dreaming of an elegant yet approachable wedding, Abby & David became husband and wife at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay before celebrating bayside at Gordon Lodge. His and hers signature cocktails, bar signage to incorporate their cat & dog, and vintage Door County postcards collected by Abby are among a few of the details that made their day feel like them. Together, they planned a heartwarming day and had one very full dance floor when the Bluewater Kings Band chimed in! Abby & David have a natural ease and comfort about them, and we’re so thankful to have been there to capture such a special day!

A Wedding at The Eloise | Camille & Tyler

We first met Camille in 2017 when we photographed her senior portraits, and continued our matcha dates & studio visits while she was in college and post-grad. During one of those get-togethers we vividly remember her telling us about a new gentleman in her life, Tyler. Badger football player, excellent chef, and most importantly someone whose spark and zest for life matched her own! Camille is such a bright light with the biggest, most genuine smile to share with every single person she meets. And, Tyler has the same contagious energy!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just last year they moved down south, and we had the absolute pleasure of spending a day with them in Charleston this winter! On a rainy day (and in any life situation) these two are who you want to spend it with.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When September 3rd came and we made our way down to the Madison area, we were bursting to hug them both and capture such a special day for the two of them. Amazing friends & families, lots of sunshine, and enough joy & laughter to bottle up! A heartfelt congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Mais. We are so happy for this sweet new couple!

Door County Wedding at Gordon Lodge | Olivia & Casey

Olivia & Casey envisioned a classic, nautical wedding as close to the water as possible, and Gordon Lodge couldn’t have been a more perfect setting! After their first look and private vow exchange, Olivia & Casey joined us along the bay for portraits before their ceremony. They carved out a lot of portrait time and it was such a beautiful setting, we quite literally could.not.stop taking their picture!

After family portraits and a sun-soaked ceremony on the lawn, guests mingled, played games and enjoyed cocktail hour at Gordon Lodge’s outdoor bar. With a view of the water all day long, the energy surrounding the two of them was absolutely contagious!

And then, just like that, Olivia & Casey's wedding day was blessed with what can only be described as truly one of *the* most stunning Gordon Lodge sunsets we've ever seen!

If you ask us, the two of them couldn't be more deserving of such a beautiful ending to their Door County wedding. They're genuine, WARM, caring, and bursting with fun-loving personality!! And if you're lucky enough to know them, we know you'll agree.
