Margaret & Patrick were married the summer prior in a private ceremony, and afterwards they dreamed of a warm, intimate vow renewal in Door County. They were so excited to start their family and were anticipating the arrival of their first baby the day of their About Thyme Farm wedding celebration! Imagine the outpouring of love one feels on their wedding day, then times that by 100 because the pending addition of their first little one added so much sweetness to the day!

Horseshoe Bay Beach Club Wedding | Caila & Andy

Caila and Andy’s wedding took place in a location that has more meaning to them and their ancestors than we could possibly describe. We’ll do our best to bring you up to speed! ;) Andy’s grandfather bought land and built on Chamber’s Island in the 50’s. They still have that property to this day, and it has been enjoyed by his family ever since! Early on in their dating relationship, Caila ventured to the island with Andy and her adventurous spirit loved it just as much as he has for all these years!

For those familiar with Chambers, the island has a tight-knit community which was highlighted on C&A’s wedding day. Guests arrived by boat, were transported to the lighthouse ceremony site by local friends, and then back to the marina by boat for an intimate tented reception at Horseshoe Bay Beach Club.

In true Caila and Andy form, their tent was filled with lush greens and driftwood from the island suspended in the middle of their tent to serve as their chandelier. Paired with laughter, heartfelt and hilarious toasts, their sweet dogs, and a firework show, and you’ve got one incredible celebration for two truly awesome humans.

Big love to this couple, and thank you, Caila and Andy, for the memories and adventures we were able to capture for you!

Hillside Inn Wedding in Door County | Emma & Dylan

With thirty-two of their closest loved ones, Emma and Dylan planned a southern-inspired wedding in Door County, WI.

After an intimate ceremony with a view of the water at Gordon Lodge, guests traveled by trolley to Ephraim’s most iconic waterfront property. The Hillside Inn brings a touch of elegance & charm. When paired with the lush florals and soft blue & white color palette Emma envisioned, it was such a romantic tented celebration! With the glow of strung lights above and a beautiful Door County sunset, guests enjoyed heartfelt toasts as they gathered around a long, lush table.

Emma and Dylan’s sweetness was shared in quiet moments, and we loved seeing them relax into the day with their friends and family. Here’s to a beautiful life ahead for the new Mr and Mrs!

Northern Haus

One of Door County’s newest venues, Northern Haus was built in 2018. The elegant white barn offers a clean, modern style with giant iron chandeliers, wooden beams, and windows with black trim. After getting ready in their bridal suite, walk to your ceremony in the forest and then enjoy an outdoor cocktail hour before heading into your reception.

Grain Exchange Milwaukee Wedding | Vanessa & Sean

Vanessa & Sean’s wedding was highly anticipated by everyone involved!! Together with Janelle from Evenement Planning, Vanessa dreamed up a glamorous, grand celebration and the Grain Exchange in Milwaukee.

Their wedding day was filled with thoughtful details and touches – like the bowtie and pocket square Vanessa surprised Sean with, that was made with his late mother’s wedding dress fabric. Seeing him open such a special gift with his brother and dad was such a powerful moment and it really set the tone for a heartfelt, beautiful celebration!

After getting ready, Vanessa was whisked away to their ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Church! The Grain Exchange awaited everyone, where they enjoyed a reception filled with intermittent dance breaks. It went a little something like this – grand entrance, dance party, welcome toast, dance party, first course, dance party… you get the idea! :) This brought all of their guests crashing onto the dance floor each time, and was so much fun to be part of! ENERGY continued to fill the room all evening, and we couldn’t be happier for newlyweds Vanessa & Sean!
