Katherine and Arnab's wedding day was nothing short of amazing! It was an absolutely perfect early fall day in Door County, with bountiful sunshine and a crisp autumn breeze. They had friends and family visiting from around the globe to share in their wedding celebration, which was planned in large part by Katherine's Mom, Carol. She beautifully combined rich Indian-inspired hues of gold & red with teal accents to tie in the water tones of Door County's 300+ miles of shoreline. Arnab's parents traveled for 18 hours by plane to be a part of their celebration, and his Mom wore two stunning sarees. Vibrant, punchy florals by Helene at Flora and red bowties for the gentlemen laced color through every inch of their wedding day! Katherine paired her dress with classic Kate Spade heels and a custom-made necklace; she and Arnab were such a timeless bride and groom!! We were lucky to capture gorgeous portraits with the two of them and their families along the shore at Katherine's parents property in Ellison Bay. Their portrait time was so relaxing and joyful, we could have spent the entire day there with them! But, of course, a beautiful reception awaited them at Gordon Lodge! :)

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour with a view of Lake Michigan as the sun set while they shared hugs & laughter and enjoyed savory passed appetizers. Once the last drop of sunlight shined on the patio, heartfelt speeches and toasts spoke volumes to the genuine, caring personalities and giant hearts that Katherine and Arnab each have. Throughout dinner, loved ones took turns singing songs with the word 'love' in them to pull out Katherine & Arnab's smooches. :) And, finally, the new Mr & Mrs first dance was a choreographed number to Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors." With Katherine's bustled gown spinning around the dance floor, she was the belle of the ball while she & Arnab kicked off their party with their awesome band, Random Maxx!

TROY BURNE GOLF CLUB WEDDING | DREW & MATT

This is a day we would relive over and over if we could!! Drew & Matt are two people with some of the most magnetic personalities we've ever had the pleasure of photographing. They planned a wedding celebration centered around what matters most: spending as much time as possible with each other and their closest loved ones (all 250 of their guests!;)

The moment we arrived at Drew's parents beautiful home in Baldwin, WI, we were greeted with the most JOYFUL hugs, and that was just the beginning... Drew was so excited and couldn't wait to jump into her dress!! We don't have enough hands to count the number of times she said "this is so fun!" :) Some couples are a bit nervous the morning of their wedding, but this day... it was 100000% LOVE and EXCITEMENT!!! And, if you know us, you'll know that we love being excited too ;)

After being helped into her beautiful gown by her Mom & sister, Drew went to see her handsome groom, Matt, who was waiting for her under a giant tree in her parents yard. Their first look was emotional, full of smiles, and one of the cutest moments of all time! We loved photographing Drew & Matt and their amazing families all around this gorgeous property. In between champagne cheersing and lots of giant belly laughs, the soon-to-be Mr & Mrs invited us in to capture so many sweet moments!

Just minutes from where they got ready, Drew & Matt chose to have their ceremony at the charming Historic Woodside Place. What a beautiful place to become husband and wife!! As soon as Drew made her way to the alter, she & Matt turned to face all of their guests and burst out with a little Thank You message to welcome them all and let them know how happy they were to have each one of them as a part of their wedding day. This set the tone for a genuinely touching ceremony. Guests filled the classic wooden pews, light poured in through the stained glass windows, and their Officiant (Drew's Godfather) shared so many sweet words about the two of them and their future together.

Fast forward to their beautiful reception at Troy Burne Golf Club where Drew & Matt were treated to a stunning sunset after being overcome with tears & laughter while their brothers and sisters shared heartwarming words about them during toasts. Blush and ivory blooms with gold vases and blush sequin table runners decorated the tables where guests took turns singing songs about love to solicit smooches from Drew & Matt. And, can we talk about the amazing cake their family friend created for them?! They had not one but NINE wedding cakes!

The band started up, Drew & Matt danced with each other, along with the sweetest father & daughter, mother & son dances, and their guests used up all of the dancing space available to celebrate the new Mr & Mrs. It was a truly special day, and we are SO honored to share their pictures with you all! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Drew & Matt!

WADE HOUSE WEDDING | ALLYSON & JOHN

Allyson and John planned a wedding filled with their love of not only each other, but also their beloved home states: Wisconsin and California! A gift bag with fresh (squeaky!) cheese curds, chocolate in the shapes of WI & CA, as well as many other heartfelt treats welcomed all of their guests. This theme carried through to a tented reception at historic Wade House where Allyson & John's closest friends and family dined on Wisconsin brats & curds and In-n-Out style burgers.

These two were literally bursting with excitement to be married to each other!! So much so that midway through the ceremony Allyson threw her arms up and wrapped them around the man who had just promised her forever. Celebrating continued with the four of us exploring Wade House's amazing property — we were head over heels while photographing these adorable newlyweds around so much history!

After dinner, Allyson & John treated their guests to an absolutely breathtaking fireworks show!! The flashes of light and color felt so grand and, while their guests may not have needed it, seemed to shower energy that translated into an absolutely packed dance floor.

Seeing their bright eyes and giant smiles made us feel infinitely lucky that we were their to preserve their wedding memories. Thank you, Allyson & John, for inviting us into your very special day!

We chimed in on Erin & John's wedding day just as Erin was just about to slip into her truly stunning Vera Wang gown. She shared a heartfelt moment with her Dad before being escorted by a classic Door County Trolley to Sunset Beach Park in Fish Creek, where an especially handsome groom awaited her. :) Erin & John's bayside ceremony was blessed with abundant sunshine, live music, and the support of all of their loved ones. After soaking in the rays as they became husband & wife, Erin & John snuck away to the Fish Creek Marina where we were in heaven photographing this gorgeous new Mr & Mrs!!

At About Thyme Farm, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres on the lawn while Lily & Ben Larsen set the scene for an amazing night with their talented duo of live music! While Erin & John made their way from hugs to laughs to smile-filled conversations, their amazing wedding planner, Chandra from Door County Event Planners, put the finishing touches on a timeless, beautiful barn celebration awaiting them just footsteps away. Heartfelt toasts, sparkly tear-filled eyes and sweet little moments between Erin & John as well as delicious food from Alexander's led right into one of the most perfect Door County sunsets we have ever captured and, from there, their dance floor went from 0 to 100 in record time! :)

Erin & John, we couldn't be more thrilled for the two of you and are so honored to have photographed your wedding celebration! Hoping we'll be able to get together soon now that you're so close, and we're wishing you a wonderful lifetime together as husband & wife!

HORSESHOE BAY FARMS DOOR COUNTY WEDDING | RACHEL & CHARLIE

When you think about a wedding in Door County, Wisconsin, you think of a few things: effortless natural beauty, water, and romance. Rachel & Charlie's wedding celebration at Horseshoe Bay Farms was all of these things and so much more! Those familiar with Horseshoe Bay Farms know that no wedding has ever taken place there before. Rachel & Charlie are truly lucky to have the fortune of having their wedding at this incredible property. With Carrie at Door County Event Planners at their side, they took on the giant slice of charm the Farms has to offer and turned it into the wedding of their dreams!! Where do we even begin?! :)

Rachel and Charlie started their wedding day at Grey Logs, a bayside property between Ephraim & Sister Bay owned by Charlie's parents. With a view of the water the ladies got dolled up while the guys went boating and eased into the day. Rachel & Charlie's first look took place on a twisty boardwalk leading from a house in the woods to the shore and, from this point on, smiles never left their faces!! These two have an ease about them that feels like you have honestly known them for years & years, and photographing them along the bay was like a dream!! After portraits they arrived to their ceremony on the water where some of the most authentic words of wisdom and advice about marriage were shared by their officiant as he pronounced them husband and wife. A table overflowing with glasses of champagne awaited all of their guests to keep their hands happy as they crossed the street to the reception at Horseshoe Bay Farms. Rachel and Charlie welcomed each loved one to cocktail hour under the most stunning floral arch we have ever seen, and from there the celebration began!!

Guests mingled and enjoyed passed appetizers while the Allegro String Quartet serenaded them before entering a stunning Sperry tent decorated to the nines! Helene at Flora Flowershop created a unique centerpiece for every single table and with evening light fading to candle light, it made for the most elegant and romantic evening! Deliciousness served by Mission Grille & live music from Dynasty brought the house down as Rachel & Charlie's guests piled onto the dance floor immediately!!

It was the kind of evening we could have photographed forever. We feel incredibly lucky to have been Rachel & Charlie's photographers. Thank you two so much for trusting us to capture your once in a lifetime day.
