RAMHORN FARM WEDDING | MELANIE & MICAH

Every single loved one at Melanie and Micah's beautiful Ramhorn Farm wedding celebration felt the love they shared. From the way they light each other up to the heartfelt handwritten vows they exchanged, the best way to describe Melanie & Micah's wedding day is POWERFUL.

First, we must say the Ramhorn Farm property is absolutely immaculate. Upon arriving, it's almost as if you're swept away to Italy with endless landscaping, lush greens and charming spaces every way you look... and, Chickens!! :)

Melanie & Micah's ceremony surrounded by fields was made even more special with their darling little Cavalier puppy, Fritz, as one of their ring bearers as well as readings done by several family members. Afterwards, guests were welcomed to cocktail hour with passed appetizers and lavender infused champagne. The reception was styled to perfection by Evenement Planning with gorgeous flowers by Jane Kelly Floral! Dinner took place at long wooden tables in a cozy courtyard under the stars, and definitely no shortage of cheersing. But first, to kick things off, Melanie hopped on the microphone to sing a french version of "La Vie En Rose" that brought nearly everyone to tears. Hands down, one of the sweetest wedding moments we have ever seen :)

It was honestly a day meant for storybooks, and we couldn't be more grateful to have been there to capture countless moments exploding with joy!! Thank you, Melanie & Micah, for the giant honor of photographing your wedding!

CENTRAL WISCONSIN FARM WEDDING | STACY & STEVE

A family farm, peonies everywhere you turned, and the sun warming everyone's smiles for Stacy & Steve. Oh, and the MOST adorable furry four-legged ring bearer we will ever photograph! (We photographed Jordy one other time when he was a bit more clumsy at Cave Point, in Door County - take a peek) 

How we LOVED this day! It truly was a family & friend team effort to put on Stacy & Steve's celebration. They were married on Steve's family's farm in central Wisconsin, and the help they received to pull everything together seemed to have come from half of their guest list! A handmade arch to be married under as well as an awesome self-serve beer bar, both made from reclaimed wood from a barn on the farm that, piece by piece, is making its way to the ground. So wonderful to have these unique elements to make their wedding even more special!

After Stacy & Steve's ceremony in a pasture with an amazing evergreen backdrop, their guests were escorted cocktail hour with yard games representing each of their college teams, cheese curds, signature cocktails and, finally, a giant white tent decorated from top to bottom with gorgeous PEONIES!!! Stacy & Steve brought the energy up moments before the dance floor opened with a "dirty dancing" themed first dance, including Steve swooping Stacy off her feet! By far one of the grandest first dances we have ever witnessed!

Stacy & Steve truly danced the night away into the sunset. We feel incredibly honored they chose us to photograph their celebration on the farm and still wish we could dive back into this day and hit the dance floor with them!

ELEGANT WAUSAU WEDDING | MEGHAN & TONY

Where do we begin with Meghan & Tony?! They are as happy and in LOVE with each other as their wedding was elegant, glamorous & perfect! Their day was greeted with clouds and rain but the second they made their way to the beautiful Church of Resurrection, sunshine was bursting through the clouds to brighten up the day, matching everyone's smiles & energy! We cannot talk about this day without gushing over the details. Teamed up with Meghan and her Mom, Randy at Evolutions in Design created the most magical scene at the Jefferson Street Inn. So stunning, it brought Meghan & her family to tears. Magical! The elegance surrounding every corner we turned had us loading & re-loading our film cameras at a record pace! 

Meghan & Tony whisked their bridal party away on a classic trolley for a few portraits at the Wausau Country Club before arriving for cocktail hour with all of their guests. Emotional toasts lead us into dancing with entertainment from the fabulous Spicey Tie Band! It was as if Meghan & Tony's guests were in a race to the dance floor – it filled up SO fast.

We could not be more thankful to the most wonderful couple, Meghan & Tony, as well as their families, for inviting us to photograph your beautiful wedding day!!

Villa Terrace Milwaukee Wedding | Alison & Doron

Alison & Doron chose to have a brunch wedding celebration in Milwaukee. To say we were excited to photograph their wedding would be a giant understatement. :) Stepping into Villa Terrace feels like you've suddenly been transported to the loveliest place in a tiny Italian village, with architecture and charm in every direction.

The weather gave Allison & Doron a taste of everything from fog and rain to abundant sunshine. Doron's family traveled for the weekend from Israel and it truly felt like their wedding day was a joining of two families. After a beautiful ceremony overlooking greenery and Lake Michigan, their guests enjoyed cocktails on the sunshine-filled terrace.

As we made our way around the property with Allison & Doron they seemed so at ease in front of our cameras, we could have taken their picture all day long! We couldn't be more honored we were there to capture so many smiling faces who had traveled great distances to see these two promise their lives to each other. Congratulations, Allison & Doron!! :)

DOOR COUNTY WEDDING | LYDIA & JON

It was a perfect day in beautiful Door County. And by perfect, we mean the lilacs were in bloom, the sun was shining, and there was a contagious energy of excitement buzzing around Sturgeon Bay! However, since Lydia & Jon's Boston wedding, the two of them and their families experienced an overload of emotions through the loss of Jon's father, Paul. This amazing couple planned not only one, but two wedding celebrations (one far sooner than the other in Jon's hometown) so Jon's Dad would be able to see him marry the love of his life. Shortly after Lydia & Jon's wedding last August we received the most heartbreaking news; they lost a man who loved SO big and brought sincerity & kindness to everyone he met. We know this to be true because the impact Paul had on us after getting to know him throughout Lydia & Jon's wedding is one we will never forget. Our hearts continue to go out to Jon and his family, but we also know Paul was still very much a part of Lydia & Jon's wedding celebration in Door County just two weeks ago. He was there in spirit and also represented in the monogram Lydia had sewn into her dress, in the special cufflinks Jon wore, and in the wedding ring worn by Jon's Mom, Kathy. We like to think of these memories as a celebration of Paul's life and know that Lydia & Jon and their families continue to feel his presence every single day.

Lydia & Jon waited to see each other until their ceremony, and seeing the way Jon lit up as Lydia was escorted down the aisle by her Dad, Cory, was as if this was the first time they would say "I do" to each other. Their bond is of the strongest we've witnessed and every chance they get to make one another smile, they take it. This, of course, makes everyone around them smile as well because Lydia & Jon are absolutely adorable together!! :) Cory, a Reverend at First Baptist Church, had the pleasure of marrying Lydia to Jon not once, but twice and this time they said their vows in their home church (which is also where Jon proposed)! Lydia & Jon's ceremony was emotional and heartfelt as they shared the same hand-written vows they had just spoken to each other ten months earlier in Boston.

To us Door County means gorgeous water & beaches, so we were thrilled when Lydia & Jon were up for heading over to a secret gem of a beach for portraits. The vibrant aqua of Lake Michigan paired with long grass and a secluded beach made for a dreamy setting, and we used every moment we had with these two and their fun wedding party! Afterwards, of course, they celebrated and boogied the night away with all of their guests. :) 

We couldn't be happier for the life Lydia & Jon have ahead of them!! Photographing so many once-in-a-lifetime moments for their families has been one of our greatest honors. We couldn't be more thankful to have been behind the camera capturing all of the joy, tears, and hugs they shared with loved ones as they became Mr & Mrs Bugli... not once, but twice! Love these two to the moon!!
