Where do we begin with the instant smile and overwhelming happiness that comes every.single.time we think back to Julia & Alex's Wausau wedding!!! Not just the two of them, but their families as well, are some of the most genuinely happy, positive, and caring people we have ever met! J&A were blessed with the most beautiful day for a wedding in Julia's family's backyard in central Wisconsin. Surrounded by absolutely gorgeous landscaping and a perfect field of Queen Anne's lace, their personalities were written all over every inch of their wedding day! From the vibrant flowers amazingly created by Randy of Evolutions in Design to the colorful bridesmaid dresses, these happy hues matched Julia & Alex's bubbly personalities so well!!

CENTRAL WISCONSIN WEDDING | NIKKI & JOE!

There are a few gems that we've been hanging onto from last season, and Nikki & Joe's beautiful Wausau wedding is one of them!! We are SO excited to share with you one of the most thoughtful couples we have ever met. Nikki & Joe are high school sweethearts, and nothing makes us smile more than thinking about the two of them growing up together and now, enjoying life as Mr & Mrs :) Today also happens to be their nine year "dating" anniversary – Happy anniversary, you two!!! :)

Nikki & Joe have an energy about them that immediately sets you at ease, and makes you want to get to know them even more. Nikki has a warm motherly nature and a heart of gold. Joe is full of romantic little surprises for his lovely lady – like surprise flowers "just because"! They make us feel like we are more than just their wedding photographers! Nikki & Joe are the most genuine of people and we feel absolutely honored that they chose us to photograph such a big day in their lives. Nikki & Joe, we think the world of the two of you and it makes us smile from ear to ear when we think of the two of you looking at your wedding photos together with grandchildren in your laps :)

SNOWY ROMANTIC WINTER WEDDING INSPIRATION SHOOT

Last week we shared especially exciting news about a romantic winter wedding inspiration shoot that we were lucky to be a part of along with many talented Wisconsin creatives!! The very first images from this shoot were featured on the lovely Elizabeth Anne Designs (we hope you stopped by to take a peek!!), and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect way to reveal our snowy little gem to you! From a one-of-a-kind lace gown designed & handcrafted by Monirose to a beautiful custom hairpiece by Plume & Lace, paired with thoughtful creative styling by Anna of A.Styled Event and lavish rich florals created by Marius Bell Floral & Events, we cannot emphasize how much of an ABSOLUTE HONOR it was to capture these images!!!!!! Our gorgeous models, Lea & Tricia (who are real-life sisters!!) and our groom Alex were both a joy and a BLAST to photograph, and the very sweet Taylor Buth did their make-up to perfection!!

At the Schlitz Audobon Nature Center on a perfectly snowy Sunday, we were all like kids in one giant candy store – no timeline to adhere to, no rules, just all of us in our element!! Styling pretty details, arranging stunning florals, creating artful images, and models donning beautiful attire, with smiles on our faces every second :D We are so grateful for all that were involved with this little labor of love - a huge and heartfelt thank you to each of you, friends!! Our hope is that these images might serve as a bit of inspiration for midwest brides who are longing for a gorgeous winter wedding... perhaps even filled with rich gold & cranberry touches!! ;)

WAUSAU COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING ON FILM | SABRINA & ROBB

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Sabrina & Robb's wedding day was!! From their timeless style (you're going to die when you see Sabrina's dress!) to the outdoor ceremony she & Robb envisioned, they were surrounded by Wausau Country Club's beautiful greenery with their closest friends and family on one of the most sunny days in August! Simply put, Sabrina & Robb are FUN!! They're one of those couples who somehow manage to both energize you and put you at ease at the same time. They're up for anything, they have they best laughs, and as a bride & groom they are absolutely classic. For these reasons and SO many more, we wish we could photograph their wedding day over and over again every weekend because it was THAT perfect!

MILWAUKEE WEDDING ON FILM | LAUREN & CAMERON

If there were ever such a thing as a perfect wedding, Lauren & Cameron's glamorous celebration at the Turner Hall Ballroom would be right up there!! When we think back to Lauren & Cameron's wedding day in August, we can't help but smile! The two of them, their family and bridal party all have an energy that was undeniably contagious. It made their wedding an absolute joy to be a part of, and boy did we feel lucky that they chose us as their photographers!! And best of all? Aside from all of the vibrant color, pretty florals and genuine laughter were two amazing people with the biggest hearts imaginable. Lauren & Cameron have always been naturals in front of our cameras. Their optimistic & carefree spirits seem to jump out of every photograph, and that is just one of the reasons that we couldn't be more excited to share their wedding with you!!
