We believe that photos make an amazing gift, so naturally we were excited when Liz & Guy's kids reached out to us and wanted to buy their parents a portrait session gift certificate for their 40th wedding anniversary! Just a few weeks ago, we visited Liz & Guy at their home and had a beautiful fall day to work our way around their property and get to know them! Liz & Guy are both retired and are enjoying their days together traveling together as well as visiting their children spread out across the country. They are a beautiful example of a genuinely happy and loving marriage, and we are so thankful to have created these portraits with them!

Newborn sessions make us feel so joyful and especially thankful that we're able to capture such special, fleeting moments for new families. Seeing Stephanie and Kurt love on and ADORE their new pride & joy as they began to navigate the roles of Mom and Dad was absolutely heartwarming. Adorable little Konrad was such a good boy during his session and he even gave us a few little laughs as he "leaked" onto his Mom and made her change her shirt :)
Rows and rows of charming trees with red polka dots, crisp fall air, and a family tradition: apple picking! We've always wanted to photograph a complete session at an apple orchard in the fall! :) Luckily Emily & Michael loved the idea as well, and we had so much fun with them and their two beautiful girls, Olivia & Charlotte, as we made our way around 
We've had the absolute pleasure of photographing this family of three several times over the last couple years, and each time we leave their home with THE biggest smile on our faces!! Throughout Joachim's first year we saw him and his Mom & Dad, Dominee & Hector, every three months for his newborn, 4 month, 8 month and 1 year portraits. This time, well over half a year had passed and we couldn't BELIEVE what an adorable big boy Joachim has become! We cycled through a few of our tricks and, before we knew it, all five of us were having a blast bringing out Joachim's laughter and smiles for us to capture!!
This family portrait session includes three of our very favorite things: Door County's gorgeous fall colors, an ADORABLE family who we are lucky to call great friends, and Butch's parents beautiful land in Jacksonport! It warms our hearts watching this family grow, spending time with them, and especially getting to take photos that they will cherish for a lifetime. :)
