ELEGANT MILWAUKEE WEDDING | LAUREN & RYAN

From the moment we arrived at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee, the energy and excitement that both Lauren and Ryan (and their awesome family/bridal party!) had set the tone for an amazing day! Lauren was absolutely radiant. Together, her and Ryan made an elegant & classic bride and groom :) Both Marquette alums, it only seemed fitting to tie the knot at Gesu – an absolutely stunning church to say "I do!"

Lauren & Ryan had originally planned an August 31st wedding, but in January they found out that literally ALL of the hotels in Milwaukee were booked for a Harley Davidson anniversary celebration. It definitely speaks to their character that they were quickly able to refocus and plan for a May wedding :) Everything happens for a reason, and that statement couldn't be more true to these two! This wedding was beautiful from beginning to end, and we are so grateful to have captured Lauren & Ryan's absolutely classic day!

WAUSAU FAMILY PORTRAITS | THE PENSINGERS ON FILM!

To celebrate Lennon turning one, we planned a session with one of our favorite little families (and closest friends!), and boy were we in for a treat!! Lennon had us smiling the entire time – it is seriously impossible to NOT light up when you're around him! We hope this session brings the biggest smile to your face – we clearly spent the afternoon smiling over here as we prepared their images! ;)

CHICAGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHERS | ANDY & ERIC!

 Andy & Eric invited us to Chicago for their engagement session two weeks ago, and it was so cute watching them fall into each other's arms then burst out into smiles & laughter the entire time!! We met in Lincoln Park where the trees were freshly blooming and it was green & vibrant in every direction – we truly couldn't have created a better place for their session if we tried! :)

SONOMA WINE COUNTRY!!

If you know us, you know that there are several things that we especially love: time with family, good wine, and everything California! Last month we were able to enjoy six days packed full of exactly that :) Before our wedding season kicked off, we snuck away to wine country and soaked up some CA sunshine with Butch's parents, sister Stevi, and her boyfriend Charles. After a few days of winery hopping and lots picnicking, we mixed it up a bit by photographing Stevi & Charles all around West Dry Creek Road and the property where we stayed. Really, does it get any better than a couples session in wine country?!

Without a hint of doubt, one of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Storybook Mountain Vineyards. We were given a private tour by one of the five people who runs Storybook, and found ourselves blown away by the intimate feel of this winery! After walking the land, we headed into one of the oldest wine caves for our tasting. WHAT an experience! We couldn't help but ship a few bottles back to WI and can't wait to share them together!!

It's hard for us to look at these pictures and resist the urge to hop on a plane and scoot back to Sonoma rrrrright now, but we are super thankful to have these images to remember our trip by. We cannot WAIT to get back for our next visit, and until then we'll enjoy decorating our home with prints & canvases! ;)

CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY PHOTOGRAPHERS | STEVI & CHARLES

This session is extra meaningful to the two of us for SO many reasons!! We just escaped to wine country with family and while we were there, we had the chance to photograph Stevi & her boyfriend Charles. You may have already seen the resemblance and if you had a feeling that Stevi might be related to Butch, you guessed right – she's his sister! :) It's no secret that we LOVE everything California and everything wine. Put them together along with our favorite couple, great company, dreamy romantic light, and a house in the middle of a vineyard, and we're head over heels! One evening, we took a break from vacationing to weave through vineyards and explore beautiful hillsides at sunset with Stevi & Charles. How adorable are they together!!

Stevi & Charles, we're so happy that we were able to create these images with you and we can't wait to visit you again soon! :)
