HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Here we sit in our sun room office, Christmas mug coffee in hand, our holiday playlist cycling through on Spotify, and the distant sound of Parker squeaking a new lion toy from one of our sweet 2013 wedding couples' gifts (thanks for the added squeaks this holiday season, Jamie & Seth!). The sun is pouring in, our tree is lit, stockings hung, and we are just plain EXCITED! Isn't this the best time of the year?!! :) We're looking forward to driving our sleigh all around the state of Wisconsin to visit with as much family as possible and introduce Parker to his first Christmas, but must admit that we are also grateful to have today to finish our wrapping before the holiday kicks in ;) We'll be back with a little end-of-the-year post after filling our bellies & hearts with lots of holiday laughter & yummy treats, but first wanted to wish each of you a Wonderfully Merry Christmas!!!! We thought, what better way to do that than with our holiday card! :)

Earlier this year Anna & I brewed up a little styled shoot on a very snowy morning, and together we swooned over sweet coral hues & adorably stacked waffles! We truly had no idea where this inspiration would lead us, so you can imagine our excitement when the lovely ladies of Southern Weddings not only wanted to feature images from our inspiration shoot on their blog, but also one of the portraits in their stunning magazine!! If we're being honest, we are both quite southern at heart and felt like this was truly the perfect fit for our little brunch wedding :) In case you haven't gotten your hands on a copy of SWV5 make sure to hop on over to Target or Barnes & Noble right away, and get ready to fall in love with every single page of pretty!! There is so much inspiration & genuine content in this issue and you can absolutely tell that the ladies behind the magazine poured themselves into each and every page! We are absolutely honored to see one of our images in print and cannot wait to share a few copies of V5 with our 2013 brides & grooms too!

SNOWY WAUSAU ENGAGEMENT ON FILM | JEN & ROB

You guys! We are giddy-excited to share Jen & Rob's engagement session with you!! These two are so full of JOY that it is impossible not to constantly smile and laugh when you're around them! Together, Jen & Rob absolutely shine. And even on a crazy foggy and snowy day at the top of Rib Mountain, they were two of the most adorable people we have ever photographed :) Rib Mountain is an especially meaningful spot for these two and we cannot wait to be a part of their ceremony in this very spot in August! CENTRAL WISCONSIN LIFESTYLE SESSION ON FILM | JEN & HAZEL

After having met Jen and chatted for just with her for only a couple hours, we immediately had the feeling that she had a charming and adorable home! You know how you can just TELL that about someone? Well, when we arrived for her & Hazel's in-home session on a sunny AND snowy Monday morning, we couldn't have been more excited! Jen is an absolute sweetheart, her puppy Hazel is the cutest (we happen to think she would make a perfect little girlfriend for Parker!!), and we were exactly right in that Jen's beautiful home was just WAITING for its moment to shine during this session! We truly love the vibe of an in-home lifestyle session. You and the one you love captured in your natural setting -- in Jen & Hazel's case, a whimsical home decorated straight out of holiday catalog!! NAUTICAL MILWAUKEE ENGAGEMENT ON FILM | JESS & DOM

There are very few things we love more than anything & everything about a nautical Milwaukee engagement session on film! Something about photographing a couple in love at such an effortlessly romantic location on the water just gets us. We were in absolute heaven during Jess & Dom's engagement session!! The day after Thanksgiving was quite chilly in Milwaukee -- as in we wore puffer parkas and used 15 hot pads to keep feeling in our fingers! But you would never know it because they (especially Jess!) were excited about their pictures too, which clearly made them willing to sacrifice their warmth for some extra cozy images ;) With perfect style, the loving little glances these two shared along Lake Michigan made us and our cameras do backflips, and we are SOOO excited to share their images with you! Jess & Dom are so easy going and fun to be around, and we cannot wait to see what they plan for their big day!! Love | K&B
